Long and long and long

It's been a series of boring days
Ere that, my life was gay
But now I seem to be stuck inside
Some yucky goop of gray
I can't break free for anything
I cannot lift this curse
And if I do something dumb to break
Monotony, it only gets worse
So hopefully today's the day
I'll learn to be happy again
And if I don't - it may be I won't
Well, I'll still have tomorrow then
